COVID-19 Day of Reflection 2026

Sunday 8th March 2026 is the Day of Reflection across the UK for the COVID-19 pandemic. It is an opportunity to come together to remember those who lost their lives since the pandemic began and to honour the tireless work and acts of kindness shown during this unprecedented time.

Town Councillors will be holding a minute of silence and reflection, followed by a short prayer at the Holywell Covid Memorial in Tower Gardens at 11am on Sunday 8th March. All members of the public are welcome to join them for this short, informal service.

Holywell Town Council will be lighting the council building over the weekend in commemoration.

If you would like a yellow ribbon to tie to the railings by the Covid Memorial in Tower Gardens, in memory of loved ones, we have supply of these available from the Town Council Offices (in Tesco carpark).
