Ar 6 Chwefror 2022, daeth Ei Mawrhydi’r Frenhines y gyntaf ym Mhrydain i deyrnasu am 70 mlynedd, gan ddathlu Jiwbilî Platinwm.
Bwriedir cynnal nifer o ddigwyddiadau a mentrau drwy gydol y flwyddyn i nodi’r achlysur digynsail hwn.
Bydd penllanw’r dathliadau hyn yn cael eu cynnal ar benwythnos gŵyl y banc estynedig yn dechrau ddydd Iau 2 Mehefin ac yn dod i ben ddydd Sul 5 Mehefin 2022.
Yn ogystal â nifer o ddigwyddiadau sy’n cael eu cynllunio’n genedlaethol, anogir pobl ar hyd a lled y DU i ddod ynghyd a dod â dathliadau’r Jiwbilî i wraidd eu cymunedau eu hunain.

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee
On 6 February 2022 Her Majesty The Queen became the first British Monarch to reign for 70 years, celebrating a Platinum Jubilee.
A number of events and initiatives are planned to take place throughout the year to mark this unprecedented anniversary.
The highlight of these celebrations will be centred on an extended UK bank holiday weekend beginning on Thursday 2 June and culminating on Sunday 5 June 2022.
In addition to a number of planned national events, people up and down the UK, are being encouraged to get together and bring the Jubilee celebrations into the heart of their own communities.
